NEW YORK, Nov. 15, 2006 – Delta Air Lines tonight will realize a decade-long dream when it inaugurates its first flights on the world’s most traveled international route with nonstop service between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and London’s Gatwick Airport. Delta Flight No.1 will depart New York-JFK at 7:05 p.m. and arrive in London at 7:25 a.m. Thursday, making Delta the first major U.S. airline to enter the New York-London market since 1991.

ATLANTA, Nov. 10, 2006 – Delta Air Lines will improve customers’ access to seven popular Western and Central European destinations with 14 new codeshare flights operated by SkyTeam partner KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, effective Dec. 1. Delta to Recall More Flight Attendants (Article)

System traffic for October 2006 increased 1.7 percent from October 2005 with a capacity decrease of 4.5 percent. Delta’s system load factor was 77.1 percent in October 2006, up 4.7 points from the same period last year.
