Saturday’s showdown between Ohio State and Michigan State didn’t have the outcome most expected, but before the big game, Delta and the Delta Celebration Grill were grilling up some tailgate favorites.

The ultimate aviation-themed grill was built by the Delta Technical Operations team and designed to resemble an aircraft. Once it’s fired up, it can make about 500 burgers an hour. Two Buckeye legends, Bobby Carpenter and Anthony Schlegel, were also there at Ohio Stadium to sign autographs and take photos with fans.

This fall, Delta launched alliances with nine universities across the country, including Ohio State and Michigan State, that go beyond traditional stadium signage to embed  the airline and its employees in campus and alumni events, academics and career recruiting and counseling, all in an effort to become a lifelong travel partner to future customers.

In addition to on-campus events and activities, Delta will be showcasing the benefits of a career with the airline, as well as supporting select students for study abroad or alternative spring break travel, which allow students to participate in volunteer activities worldwide.

Next week, the Delta Celebration Grill heads to Ann Arbor, Mich. for the Ohio State vs University of Michigan game on November 28.
