Employees have spoken: Delta is one of Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work in 2016.

Glassdoor, an online jobs and career marketplace, awards companies based solely on the feedback of employees who volunteer their opinions about their workplace.

Flight Attendants and Pilots walking through airport with bags“It’s an absolute honor,” said Rob Kight, Senior Vice President – Global Human Resources Service and Labor Relations. “Delta strives every day to be a great place to work.  This positive feedback from our people – the very best and most professional in the business – really highlights that commitment.”

Launched in 2008, Glassdoor combines free and anonymous reviews, ratings and salary content with job listings to help job seekers find the best jobs and address critical questions that come up during the job search, application and interview phases of employment.

The Best Places to Work Awards are determined by reviews of companies submitted by their U.S.-based employees between Nov. 3, 2014 and Nov. 1, 2015. Delta was considered for the large category, which measured companies that employ 1,000 or more people and have received at least 75 reviews during the eligibility window.

On Glassdoor.com, employees are asked to rate their overall satisfaction with their company and with other key workplace factors, including:

  •          Career opportunities
  •          Compensation
  •          Benefits
  •          Work/life balance
  •          Senior management
  •          Culture
  •          Values

We continue to attract thousands of candidates who aspire to join our team.”

Delta has received accolades based not only on feedback from its employees, but on that from aspiring job seekers as well. Earlier this year, the non-profit organization Talent Board presented Delta’s recruiting team with the CandE Award for the second consecutive year. The CandE Award celebrates organizations that provide a positive recruiting experience for their job candidates. This year’s competition included more than 170 participating companies and more than 95,000 candidate survey responses.
