Delta has been named one of 100 honorees among Glassdoor’s annual Candidate’s Choice Awards for “Best Places to Interview in 2017.”

Delta ranked No. 22 in the category, based on an overall interview experience rating.

“This honor highlights the great work of our hiring managers, talent acquisition team and Delta employees,” said Glen Johnson, Director – Talent Acquisition. “Day in, day out, these individuals strive to ensure that our interview candidates receive the same exceptional treatment as our customers.”

Glassdoor, one of the world’s largest online job platforms, used anonymous job candidate feedback shared on its website between July 2, 2016 and July 1, 2017, to determine this year’s Best Places to Interview. Participants in the review were asked to rate several factors tied to Delta (and additional companies) interview processes, including interview difficulty, duration and overall experience. Using its proprietary algorithm, Glassdoor evaluated the information and used it to determine the highest rated companies in both the U.S. and UK.

“The interview process is the gateway experience that employers have with a candidate, and you only get one chance to make a great first impression,” said Carmel Galvin, Glassdoor’s Chief Human Resources Officer. “These employers stand out from the rest for offering a best-in-class candidate experience that is vital to turning quality candidates into amazing employees.”

At a minimum, employers for the U.S. list received at least 50 Glassdoor-approved interview reviews — including at least 50 interview experience ratings — from U.S.-based employees.

Delta previously received Glassdoor’s Employees’ Choice Award for “Best Places to Work” for 2016 and 2017.
