Theresa Wise

Theresa Wise is senior vice president and chief information officer of Delta Air Lines. Under Theresa’s watch, Delta integrated the Northwest Airlines technology systems into Delta’s, combining millions of passenger records and several hundred information technology systems with virtually no impact to customers. Today, Theresa focuses on leveraging technology to enhance the customer experience with Delta.

Most recently, Theresa served as Northwest’s senior vice president and chief information officer, overseeing the airline’s Information Services (IS) group. Theresa joined Northwest in 1993 and, prior to her appointment as vice president – Information Services, held a variety of positions in IT and Operations Research. 

Theresa graduated from St. Olaf College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics and chemistry and holds a Ph.D. and Master of Science degree in operations research and applied math from Cornell University. She is an active supporter of the arts, having served on the boards of the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, the Minnesota Orchestra, and the Children’s Theatre Company, and as a violinist with the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra.
