On Friday, U.S. Paralympians departed from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to the Paralympic Winter Games Beijing 2022, carried by Delta’s Team USA-only charter flight.

As Team USA touched down from the Olympic Winter Games, Delta employees with friends and families of the athletes celebrated their return at Salt Lake City International Airport.

At the Delta-hosted LAX send-off event athletes walked a red carpet and boarded their aircraft in a private hangar.

Delta agents in Tallahassee, Florida, worked hard to send a couple to South Korea to bring home their adopted son – and make sure a warm welcome awaited him in the U.S.

Even after 30 years, Adrienne Kaufmann's father manages to find her plane to wave good-bye. Greg Kaufmann, a Delta ramp agent, first started giving his daughter a pre-flight send-off when she was 4.
