Traveling during the holidays? Delta wants customers to enjoy spending time with their loved ones and gobbling down the scrumptious pudding and pie. To get ahead of the hustle and bustle, customers should arrive to the airport two hours ahead of their domestic flight and three hours ahead of their international flight. To travel like a pro this holiday season, here are additional eight tips for smooth and happy travels:

Navigate check-in and the airport with ease with the Fly Delta app: Be prepared while traveling by downloading the Fly Delta App – it automatically checks in eligible customers 24 hours prior to their scheduled departure, allows customers to track their bags, shares real-time updates throughout the journey, sends push notifications when it’s time to board, allows customers to rebook or select a seat from the palm of their hand, and can even help find that eggnog in the airport with the wayfinding feature.

Pack smarter this holiday season: TSA has rolled out stronger security measures across the country. In addition to screening personal electronic devices separately, TSA officers may ask travelers to remove other items from their carry-on bags and place them in bins, such as foods, powders and any materials that can obstruct clear images on the X-ray machine. And, don’t forget to make sure the gifts you pack in your carry-on or checked baggage are unwrapped. Pro tip: Help make the TSA security screening process easier for you and your fellow travelers. Learn how to pack that bin like a pro here.

Breeze through security with CLEAR: Available at 26 airports across the country, CLEAR allows customers to speed through security lines with just the touch of a finger or blink of an eye. Delta Sky Club members with CLEAR or who are enrolled in Delta Biometrics and hold a Delta Sky Club membership can use their fingerprints to enter any Delta Sky Club in the U.S. Pro tip: U.S.-based SkyMiles Members get exclusive pricing on CLEAR membership through Delta’s partnership with CLEAR, including free memberships for U.S.-based Diamond Medallion Members.

Catch a Lyft ride or stay at an Airbnb and earn miles: Move over Rudolph, we’ve got a Lyft – SkyMiles members can earn miles for every Lyft ride in the U.S. or every stay with Airbnb that’s booked at deltaairbnb.com, giving SkyMiles members another way to earn miles through their everyday purchases this holiday season and all year long.

Stay connected with family and friends in-flight: Keep up with what’s cooking for holiday dinners while in the air – Delta offers free mobile phone messaging via iMessage, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. This allows customers to exchange real-time messages in flight with friends and family throughout their holiday travel. Customers can find instructions on connecting to Wi-Fi in their seatback information cards.

Relax knowing your luggage and gifts are in good hands: Through Delta’s award-winning RFID bag tracking technology, customers receive live push notifications of their bag’s location at critical points, including when the bag is loaded on the aircraft, and all domestic airports offer a map view of the bag’s journey via the Fly Delta mobile app, so customers can track their gifts at every step of the way.

Get in the holiday spirit with Delta Studio: Delta asked customers via Twitter to vote for their favorite holiday movie and Elf was chosen! Delta offers customers more aircraft with seat-back entertainment than any other airline. It’s free in all cabins, and customers can check out all that Delta Studio has to offer via their seat-back screens or by streaming to a personal device.
