ATLANTA, Oct. 10, 2006 – Delta Air Lines invites international customers to stretch out and lie flat, as the first U.S. airline to announce fully-horizontal personal sleeper suites in BusinessElite. Delta will introduce seats by Contour Premium Aircraft Seating in early 2008, when the airline takes delivery of two new Boeing 777 Long Range (LR) aircraft. The sleeper suites will also feature Delta’s industry-leading entertainment system offering on-demand, digital video and music at every suite.

CINCINNATI, Oct. 5, 2006 – Comair has received certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to perform repair station maintenance under 14 CFR Part 145. The certification allows Comair’s Northern Kentucky hangar and maintenance support facility to perform third-party work on 50- and 70-seat Bombardier Canadair Regional Jets (CRJs).

System traffic for September 2006 decreased 3.4 percent from September 2005 with a capacity decrease of 5.4 percent. Delta’s system load factor was 74.6 percent in September 2006, up 1.5 points from the same period last year.

JOHANNESBURG, Sept. 28, 2006 -- Delta Air Lines and Nationwide Airlines today announced that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to pursue agreements to codeshare, allow members in Delta’s SkyMiles program to accrue and redeem miles for flights on Nationwide, and to work towards other marketing co-operation. The agreement includes developing codeshare services on Nationwide Airlines to and from markets beyond its hub at O.R. Tambo International Airport (previously Johannesburg International Airport).
