ATLANTA, May 3, 2006 – Delta Air Lines customers planning travel to Puerto Rico this summer will find it much easier to reach the island’s popular northwest and southern coasts with the addition of non-stop service to Aguadilla and Ponce operated by Delta Connection carrier Atlantic Southeast Airlines. To invite customers to experience its newest Puerto Rican destinations, Delta is offering special introductory fares for tickets purchased between various U.S. destinations and Aguadilla and Ponce by May 22. Some blackout dates apply and travel must be completed by Aug. 1, 2006.

ATLANTA, April 28, 2006 – Delta Air Lines is acknowledging the birthday of the late Coretta Scott King by announcing the first recipient of the Coretta Scott King/Delta Air Lines Scholarship. India Davis, a 20-year-old theatre major from Seattle, Wash., is the first winner and will be introduced Saturday during commencement exercises at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio.

ATLANTA, April 21, 2006 – Earlier this week, Delta Air Lines launched its “Clean Campaign,” an initiative that includes increasing the frequency of aircraft deep cleans and completing its on-going program to refurbish aircraft interiors. The initiative was launched with a kick-off event, “Clean Day,” which gave employees and leaders the opportunity to work together to better the customer experience. ATLANTA, April 24, 2006 – Delta Air Lines customers traveling from the United States to more than 75 international destinations in 41 countries can now check in using Delta’s industry-leading self-service kiosks. More than 1,000 kiosks in Atlanta, New York – JFK, Los Angeles and San Diego now are equipped with passport readers enabling customers to check in and check their bags in less than 90 seconds. Delta will complete upgrades to all kiosks nationwide during 2006.
