Delta is restoring a plot on its Canadian destinations map: Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Delta customers can soon again experience Halifax when the airline returns next spring with one daily round trip from the airline’s international gateway and hub at John F. Kennedy International Airport.
“This re-addition to Halifax to our international portfolio at our JFK hub speaks to the strength of our international hub in New York and demand for Delta service to Canada’s Ocean Playground,” said Henry Kuykendall, Delta’s Vice President – New York. “We look forward to bringing the Delta brand back to Nova Scotia, providing a link to New York City and offering connecting opportunities throughout the U.S., Latin America and Europe.”
Halifax customers can fly from the airline’s hub at John F. Kennedy International Airport beginning Jan. 9 on CRJ-900 aircraft operated by Delta Connection carrier Endeavor Air, featuring a 12-seat First Class cabin, 12 seats in Delta Comfort+ and 52 seats in the main cabin. Service from Halifax to JFK will begin Jan. 10.
