Financial journal Institutional Investor named Delta as a "Most Honored Company," as the airline swept all four of the award categories for the first time. CEO Ed Bastian, CFO Paul Jacobson and Jill Greer, Vice President - Investor Relations were all listed at the top of the rankings in the airline category, topping competitors.

  • Delta's company-wide IR effort ranked No. 1.
  • Bastian was ranked the No. 1 CEO.
  • Jacobson was ranked the top CFO.
  • Greer was named the best IR professional.
  • Delta's Investor Day topped the list of best analyst days.

"Delta was one of only seven companies that swept all four categories - CEO, CFO, individual IR, and company IR," Greer said. "Investor Relations is Delta's voice to Wall Street, and this award recognizes the amazing work that 80,000 people do every day in going above and beyond for our customers and owners."

Delta will present its financial plan for 2019 next month at its annual Investor Day event in New York.

The magazine noted that amid market volatility this year, investors stuck by their favorite executives, with 30 of last-year's first-place CEOs retaining their No. 1 position in various business sectors.
