ATLANTA, April 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) today reported traffic results for March 2010. System traffic in March 2010 increased 3.0 percent compared to March 2009 on a 1.6 percent decrease in capacity. Load factor increased 3.7 points to 84.2 percent.

Domestic traffic increased 2.8 percent year over year on a 0.8 percent decrease in capacity. Domestic load factor increased 3.0 points to 85.4 percent. International traffic increased 3.3 percent year over year on a 2.8 percent decrease in capacity, and load factor increased 4.8 points to 82.2 percent.
