ATLANTA, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) today reported traffic results for September 2010. System traffic in September 2010 increased 6.5 percent compared to September 2009 on a 6.6 percent increase in capacity. Load factor remained flat at 82.5 percent.

Domestic traffic increased 5.0 percent year over year on a 7.8 percent increase in capacity. Domestic load factor decreased 2.1 points to 79.9 percent. International traffic increased 8.7 percent year over year on a 4.8 percent increase in capacity, and load factor increased 3.2 points to 86.5 percent.
