ATLANTA, June 30, 2014Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) announces the introduction of a new Saturday service from New York’s JFK airport to Saint Lucia island in the Caribbean. The weekly service starts on December 20, 2014, and will be operated using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft with capacity for 160 seats.

Delta is introducing this service as a response to an increased demand for more connections between United States cities and the best tourist destinations in the Caribbean. The Caribbean is crucial to Delta´s success in New York and the airline is diligently working to meet customers’ expectations by offering increased connectivity, enhanced on-board services and state-of-the-art technology applied to travel.

The new flight schedule is now available for booking through www.delta.com. Customers could also access to Delta’s Twitter channel @Delta for real-time support before, during and after travel.
