SAO PAULO, March 23, 2015 — Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) signed an exclusive partnership with the Brazilian Association for GLS Tourism (ABRAT GLS), the largest LGBT tourism organization in Brazil. Delta’s sponsorship will enable ABRAT to promote travel benefits between Brazil-U.S. within its associates.

For the past three years Delta has supported GNetwork 360 which is the largest LGBT organization in Argentina, showing the airline’s long-standing support to the LGBT community in the region. In the United States, Delta supports National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and GLAAD, among other organizations.
Founded in 2004, the ABRAT-GLS seeks promoting gay and lesbian tourism as a way of intensifying social inclusion and eliminate prejudice and discrimination. In its 11 years of existence, the organization has grown from just 11 members to over 100 members including lodging facilities, official tourism bodies, agencies and tour operators, media companies and other services for the segment from Brazil and neighboring countries. To achieve this mission, the non- profit organization conducts awareness training, social media campaigns, business meetings and workshops for companies and organizations that are interested in providing services to Brazilian LGBT community.
