A group of Delta Care Team members arrived in Brussels around 2 p.m. local time on Wednesday and hit the ground running to support their colleagues and customers impacted by Tuesday’s explosions at Brussels’ Zaventem Airport.

Local leaders confirmed Tuesday the safety of all Delta crew members and Brussels-based ground employees. The airport remains closed, and Delta continues to work with local authorities to evaluate when airline operations can resume.

Wednesday night's Delta Flight 42 from New York-JFK to Brussels and Flight 80 from Atlanta to Brussels have been canceled. For Thursday, Flight 42 from New York-JFK to Brussels, Flight 43 from Brussels to New York-JFK and Flight 81 from Brussels to Atlanta have been canceled.

Delta’s Reservation Sales team has been working around the clock reaching out to customers with flights booked to, from or through Brussels to re-accommodate their travel plans. A travel waiver remains in place to assist customers with travel booked to, from or through Amsterdam, Netherlands (AMS), Brussels, Belgium (BRU) and Paris, France (CDG) through March 31.
