**New nonstop routes to Monterey and Philadelphia, alongside increased service to seven U.S. destinations, join Delta’s largest-ever LAX schedule and premium experience.**

Next summer, Delta will operate the largest and most premium experience in its history at LAX. Together with its partners, Delta will offer more than 200 daily departures at the summer peak. That scale, combined with Delta’s premium offering, transformed airport experience and deep roots in the Los Angeles community, further strengthens its position as Los Angeles’ #1 airline\*.

**Modernized airport experience:** Delta's $2.3 billion Sky Way at LAX transformed Terminals 2 and 3 into a connected, state-of-the-art campus designed to support the airline’s long-term growth in Los Angeles. Continued enhancements to wayfinding, security processing and terminal amenities make the experience more convenient and efficient for customers.

**Dedicated Delta One experience:** Delta One customers enjoy a dedicated Delta One Check-In experience, including private TSA security screening, creating a more personalized and streamlined start to their journey. Customers also have access to exclusive Delta One Lounges.

Delta is bringing the premium lounge experience to West Coast customers with the opening of the Delta One Lounge at LAX.



 

 



**Growing lounge footprint:** LAX recently became the first airport in Delta’s network to offer two Delta One Lounges, with an additional 11,000-square-foot Delta Sky Club opening in Terminal 2 in 2027.

**Even more to come:** By 2028, LAX will have four dedicated Delta lounge spaces, including two Delta One Lounges and two Delta Sky Clubs across Terminals 2 and 3, totaling more than 60,000 square feet and more than 1,000 seats. With the opening of the new T2 lounge, Delta will have nearly doubled its Delta One Lounge space at LAX.

## Delta’s largest-ever LAX schedule 

At its summer 2027 peak, Delta and its partners will offer more than 200 daily departures to nearly 70 destinations from LAX, giving Angelenos even more ways to connect around the world and throughout the U.S. Delta is also the only carrier at LAX serving all of the airport’s top 10 markets with multiple daily flights, giving customers greater choice and flexibility across the destinations they travel most.

Helping drive Delta’s growth are new nonstop routes to Monterey and Philadelphia, alongside additional frequencies across several key domestic markets.



 

 

## New ways to fly from LAX 



- **NEW – Monterey (MRY):** Twice-daily nonstop service beginning Dec. 19, 2026, operated by Delta Connection using an Embraer 175 aircraft. The new route gives Angelenos easier access to California’s Central Coast, including Carmel-by-the-Sea, the Monterey Peninsula and Big Sur, ahead of one of golf’s biggest championships next summer. (Delta will also launch daily nonstop service between Salt Lake City and Monterey the same day.)



- **NEW – Philadelphia (PHL):** Daily nonstop service beginning June 7, 2027, operated on an Airbus A321neo. The new route connects Southern California with Philadelphia’s renowned history, thriving culinary scene and vibrant arts and culture.



- **Raleigh-Durham (RDU):** Increasing to two daily flights beginning April 12, 2027



- **Boston (BOS):** Increasing to five daily flights beginning May 6, 2027



- **San Diego (SAN)**: Increasing to five daily flights beginning June 7, 2027



- **Cincinnati (CVG):** Increasing to two daily flights beginning July 11, 2027



- **Houston (IAH):** Increasing to three daily flights beginning July 11, 2027



- **San Antonio (SAT):** Increasing to three daily flights beginning July 11, 2027



- **Seattle (SEA):** Increasing to eight daily flights beginning July 11, 2027

Delta’s expanded summer schedule builds on a period of significant growth in Los Angeles, both domestically and internationally.

Across the South Pacific, Delta connects Los Angeles with Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Auckland, with Melbourne service growing to daily for the peak period beginning Dec. 22 and Auckland returning daily beginning Oct. 25.

Delta is further strengthening its presence in Australia and the South Pacific with the launch of nonstop service from Los Angeles (LAX) to Melbourne (MEL), beginning December 2025.



 

 



Delta has expanded its international reach from LAX with new service to [Hong Kong](https://news.delta.com/hong-kong-comes-lax-delta-celebrates-new-pacific-connection) and [Shanghai](https://news.delta.com/delta-resumes-los-angeles-shanghai-nonstop-service-june-2025), while also announcing service to Vancouver and Manila. Delta now offers service to 25 international destinations and provides one-stop access to more than 100 countries through Delta and its global partners.

New nonstop Los Angeles-Manila service gives customers a new premium way to experience the Philippines while further expanding Delta’s growing Asia-Pacific network from LAX.



 

 



Domestically, Delta continues to strengthen its position as the largest carrier from [LAX to Florida](https://news.delta.com/more-seats-more-sunshine-delta-expands-its-lead-laxs-largest-carrier), with its largest-ever Florida schedule featuring up to 13 daily departures and more than 2,500 peak-day seats. The schedule includes new service to Palm Beach and additional flights to Tampa, Orlando and Fort Lauderdale.

Delta is also expanding service in the New York market with new service to Newark, building on its position as the largest carrier between Los Angeles and New York City. Beyond LAX, Delta serves customers across Southern California through airports including Orange County (SNA), Hollywood Burbank (BUR), Ontario (ONT) and Long Beach (LGB), with the recent return of Delta One seasonal service between New York-JFK and Orange County further enhancing premium travel options in the region.
