​Delta flight attendants say Qatar CEO Akbar Al Baker's sexist comments that "grandmothers" comprise the cabin crews of U.S. carriers and "the average age of my cabin crew is only 26" won't distract them from the real issue.

In a video message shared today, Allison Ausband, Delta's Senior Vice President – In-Flight Service, proudly defends her Delta team saying, "The age of our crew does not define our service. And we're proud of the experience, skills and dedication that our team brings every day."

And flight attendant Mathew Palmer explains, "For all their bragging about their service, we all know – Qatar is only in business because of the billions of dollars in subsidies they get from their government."
