A weather waiver has been proactively issued for customers traveling to, from or through Delta’s Salt Lake City hub ahead of a winter storm that’s expected to bring more than six inches of snow to the area beginning overnight Sunday into Monday.
The waiver allows customers traveling to, from or through Salt Lake City on Feb. 3 to make a one-time change to their travel plans without incurring a fee.
While the airline is not planning for any cancellations, tactical schedule adjustments remain a possibility Monday as new forecast model data comes in.
As always, Delta's team of meteorologists continue to monitor the storm and share regularly updated forecasts with teams in the airline's Operations and Customer Center as well as in the affected airports, where delays and cancellations are possible.
Customers are encouraged to check their flight status on Delta.com or the Fly Delta Mobile App. Customers can also get updates sent directly to their mobile device or by email with One-Time Flight Notification.
