Ahead of the region’s fifth snow-producing storm system this year, Delta has issued a winter weather waiver for passengers travelling to, from or through the New York Metro area on Monday.

Forecast reports show moderate snowfall is expected early Monday morning, reducing visibility in the area for several hours. Parts of Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Ohio may see 1-2 inches of snow, where New York will likely see accumulations of 3-4 inches by Monday afternoon.

Delta has proactively cancelled about 80 Delta Connection regional flights to better minimize operational impact from the winter system.

As always, customers are encouraged to check Delta.com or the Fly Delta mobile app for the most up-to-date flight status information.
