NEW YORK, NY, Nov. 29, 2011 – Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) has been named the official airline of the Radio City Music Hall’s Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the world-famous Rockettes.

“Delta is dedicated to supporting the organizations and events that resonate with our customers, so we’re thrilled to announce our sponsorship of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, one of the most celebrated holiday shows in the city starring a legendary entertainment force, the Radio City Rockettes,” said Gail Grimmett, senior vice president-New York for Delta Air Lines. “We’re also pleased to launch our new affiliation with a promotion that celebrates the season of giving for the show’s fans and our customers.”

Delta will kick off its partnership with the holiday production by joining Coca-Cola to launch a “12 Days of Christmas Spectacular” promotion from December 1 - 12.  Prior to each nightly performance, Delta flight attendants and the Coca-Cola Polar Bear have special surprises for guests.  Audience members will also receive Delta and Coke-branded promotional items, while supplies last.

Delta’s presence at Radio City Music Hall includes the Delta Sky360° Lounge, a branded bar and lounge on the second floor mezzanine that features Delta signature cocktails.  Last month, the airline also unveiled the new Delta Sky360° Club at Madison Square Garden, which was part of the completed first phase of the famed arena’s historic, three-year top-to-bottom transformation. The 10,000 square foot hospitality space will offer world-class food and beverages, exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences and other unique amenities for select guests of MSG events.

In 2009, Delta and The Madison Square Garden Company, which counts Radio City Music Hall among its portfolio of venues, announced a long-term, multi-year marketing partnership. As a signature partner of The Madison Square Garden Company, Delta has a highly visible presence across MSG mediums, properties and teams, establishing unparalleled exposure in New York and beyond. In addition to being the official airline of MSG and MSG’s professional sports teams and iconic venues, Delta is an official partner of college basketball and the concert series at MSG, and has an integrated presence on MSG Network and across MSG’s collection of websites, blogs and social networks. The distinctive element of Delta’s agreement is the custom Delta-branded Sky360°space at all of The Madison Square Garden Company’s iconic sports and entertainment venues in the country, including The Garden, Radio City Music Hall, the Theater at MSG and the Beacon Theatre in New York City, as well as The Chicago Theatre and the Wang Theatre in Boston.

Delta’s relationship with MSG is a pivotal component of the airline’s commitment to be New York’s preferred carrier. Delta’s New York strategy includes a $1.2 billion project at John F. Kennedy International Airport to create a state-of-the-art facility through a redevelopment of Terminal 4. Delta also recently announced plans to create a domestic hub at LaGuardia airport.
