Delta Vacations, a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines and its official provider of travel packages, is offering new travel packages to Havana, Varadero and Cayo Santa Maria, Cuba, to complement the airline’s service to the island, which launched Thursday.
The packages offer U.S. customers the convenience of booking a hotel along with a flight, allowing travelers to avoid trying to identify a place to stay in a market unfamiliar to most NorthAmericans.
Delta Vacations will provide an additional 1,000 bonus miles to the credited flown miles for travel packages to Cuba through the Delta SkyMiles program. A temporary medical insurance policy is included, in compliance with Cuban regulations.
Delta offers daily flights to Havana from New York, Atlanta and Miami. Travel packages are available for booking, with travel starting Jan. 5, 2017.
