​​Today as America celebrates 242 years of independence on the Fourth of July, one flight perfectly marked the occasion.

Delta Flight 1776 from Atlanta to Philadelphia was recognized as the most patriotic flight of the year, as its number mirrors the year in which the historic American liberty was declared.
