Wall Street anticipates that Delta will report a record-breaking profit when the airline announces its earnings for the third quarter Wednesday morning.

The third quarter is traditionally the strongest period of the year for airlines due to the busy summer travel season.

CEO Richard Anderson, President Ed Bastian and Chief Financial Officer Paul Jacobson will discuss Delta’s results during a conference call with financial analysts and reporters.
