Delta reported a drop in unit revenues in February, while booking trends remained positive and the airline continued its strong operational performance.
In its monthly financial and operating performance report, the airline disclosed that consolidated passenger unit revenue for the month declined by 5.5 percent, including 1.5 points of pressure from foreign exchange.
“Across all entities, booking trends into the peak leisure season are strong and corporate demand remains solid as higher volumes continued to offset lower yields,” the airline reported.
The airline also reported that its mainline completion factor for the month was 99.6 percent, and its on-time performance (preliminary DOT A14) was 86.4 percent.
