Each year, teams of Delta employees compete in a game of tug-of-war - with a 757 jet - to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Revenue Management has wound up in last place for the past two years, but they're hoping to change that this time around - with a little luck and a lot of practice.
For the Jet Drag, groups of twenty try their hand at pulling the plane 20 feet. Some teams are more successful than others, but everyone comes together with a winning attitude to support life-saving research, education and patient programs for the American Cancer Society.
For 14 years, Delta has partnered with the Society and this year, the airline is raising the bar, setting a fundraising goal of $1.7 million.
