Delta, along with its partner Aeromexico, is evaluating operations at Mexico City International Airport (Benito Juárez International Airport), which remains closed after a magnitude 7.1 earthquake Tuesday that struck the state of Puebla and was strongly felt in Mexico City. The airport terminal was evacuated.
Flights en route to Mexico City were diverted to area airports out of an abundance of caution while flights scheduled to depart MEX are delayed pending an evaluation of infrastructure and airport facilities.
