ATLANTA, July 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Travelers with Delta SkyMiles Credit Cards can now earn double miles on all Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) and Northwest Airlines flights from July 1 through Dec. 31, 2009.

New and existing cardmembers should register at deltadoublemiles.com on or before Sept. 30, 2009. They can then fly any Delta or Northwest flight on or before Dec. 31, 2009 to earn double flown miles. Qualified members are not required to purchase their ticket with their Delta SkyMiles Credit Card to be eligible for the bonus, and all flown travel between July 1 through Dec. 31, 2009, including previously booked travel, will earn double miles.

Earn double Bonus Miles flown on all qualifying Delta and Northwest marketed and operated paid flights flown between July 1 and December 31, 2009. Offer open only to new and existing Basic Delta SkyMiles Credit Cardmembers from American Express who register by September 30, 2009. The WorldPerks/SkyMiles account registered for this promotion and associated with the primary Delta SkyMiles Credit Card account is the only account eligible to earn double Bonus Miles. Qualifying travel must be completed by December 31, 2009. A qualifying flight includes any Delta, Northwest, or Delta Connection carrier flight. Codeshare flights operated by other carriers are excluded. Travel must be on a paid published fare. WorldPerks members will earn Bonus Miles in the WorldPerks program only up until the WorldPerks program is merged with the SkyMiles program, and thereafter will earn SkyMiles. Double Bonus Miles do not count toward Elite qualification. Bonus miles will appear automatically on members' statements.
