ATLANTA, June 18, 2008 – Delta TechOps’ Component Maintenance division recently achieved ISO 9001 certification, joining a small, elite club of airline MRO service providers to achieve this designation.  The certification includes items such as composite repairs, flight controls to instruments and engine components.

Delta TechOps’ Component Maintenance Shops repair and service more than 5,600 different aircraft and engine components, turning more than 193,000 parts each year for Delta and other air carriers and maintenance facilities.

The ISO 9001 standard specifies processes and procedures an organization must follow to maintain consistently high levels of quality. The certification is recognized in 157 countries, and has a proven track record of leading companies to enhanced operations and improved performance and quality.
