Delta no longer serves the Istanbul Ataturk International Airport where two explosions and gunfire were reported late Tuesday evening, local time. We are in touch with our Joint Venture partners Air France, KLM and Alitalia who operate flights to and from Istanbul. 

Delta in April suspended its planned summer seasonal service from New York JFK to Istanbul's Ataturk International Airport.​ Delta last flew to Istanbul in September 2015. 

Along with Delta's Joint Venture partners, a travel waiver has been issued to offer customers the flexibility to adjust travel plans.​

The Delta family is deeply saddened by the tragedy in Istanbul and our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.
