Delta’s official vacation provider, Delta Vacations, looks to keep up with rising customer demand in Italy by adding new experiential offerings to bundle with vacation packages to the region. 

The new packages include culinary experiences and cultural walking tours in Rome and Florence, in addition to wine and olive oil tasting tours added last year as part of an ongoing initiative to give customers more quality activity choices in top leisure travel destinations.

Since 2013, Delta Vacations has seen year-over-year growth in sales of tours and activities in Italy, which is the company’s number one destination in Europe.

“There is growing demand for quality, small group experiences in Italy and across Europe,” said John Caldwell, president of Delta Vacations. “We want to make shopping with us even more convenient for our customers by adding unique and exciting activities like these that can be bundled with hotel stays and flights aboard Delta and its strategic partners Air France, Alitalia and KLM, for added value.”

Delta Vacations is expected to offer customers additional tours and activities in Italy, as well as in France, Spain and other European destinations.
