Delta has issued a travel waiver for customers traveling through Chicago Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of a storm expected to bring snow to the area.
The airline’s meteorologists are keeping an eye on the system as the latest weather forecast model data comes in on timing and amount of precipitation, which is expected to begin Monday night through Wednesday morning. The airline is currently not planning for any cancellations as a result of the storm.
The waiver allows customers with flexibility in their travel plans to make a one-time change to their itinerary without incurring a change fee.
Customers are encouraged to check their flight status on Delta.com or the Fly Delta Mobile App. Customers can also get updates sent directly to their mobile device or by email with One-Time Flight Notification.
