A Queens, N.Y., District Attorney charged Delta customer Robin A. Rhodes with assault, unlawful imprisonment, menacing and harassment as hate crimes in connection with an attack on a Delta contractor in the JFK Delta Sky Club on Wednesday.

After an investigation by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police Department, the D.A. issued a news release Thursday stating that Rhodes became violent with an ISS employee who was working in the Sky Club.

“What happened in this incident is totally unacceptable and Delta has made its stance clear on these types of events,” Delta said in a statement. “People who are violent or exhibit bullying behavior are not welcome.”
