Expert chooses airline wines with care

Drumroll: Delta Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson has made her official wine selections. Robinson chose more than 50 white, red and sparkling wines from vintners on five continents.

Her approach balances the wine’s pedigree with a careful nose to ensuring the wine will present well at altitude, despite the effects of lower humidity and cabin pressurization.

Robinson has been the brains behind Delta’s wine selections since 2007 and is one of a handful of women worldwide with the Master Sommelier title.

Her selections will appear in the Delta One cabin and Delta Sky Clubs next year.
