Fasten your seatbelt for new safety video
Please ensure your seat is in its full upright and locked position and all your carry-on items are stowed: Delta has released the latest version of its popular safety videos.
The latest version features a squirrel who is having trouble storing his nut in the overhead bin, the captain of a ship giving an affirmative “aye” when sitting in the exit row seat, and an Etch-a-Sketch artist who runs into a problem when the flight hits turbulence.
The new video follows the success of The Internetest Safety Video on the Internet – which has nearly 9 million views on YouTube. The Internet Fame video came in at number 5 on the YouTube Ads Leaderboard for May, a monthly celebration of the most engaging ads people chose to watch on YouTube.
Delta launched a series of safety videos beginning in late 2012 meant to grab the attention of even the most seasoned travelers by using pop culture references, surprises and guest appearances – all to communicate important safety messages.
