Aviation and history buffs - or anyone else - can leave a lasting legacy at the Delta Flight Museum through the purchase of a personalized brick in the museum’s courtyard. The museum said this week it is accepting orders for commemorative bricks through Monday, Sept. 7, so they can be installed in time for the holiday season.
“The courtyard is a unique and meaningful part of the museum experience for visitors,” said Cherea Foreman, Manager of Development–Delta Flight Museum. “From thanking a team for their dedication to asking for a hand in marriage, the brick campaign is a wonderful way for Delta people, retirees and others to secure a special mark in history.”
Because the museum is a nonprofit, money generated by the brick sale supports the development of new exhibits and features to chronicle Delta’s history and that of commercial flight. The purchase of a brick is tax deductible.
