Give a piece of Delta history:

Delta's new collection of upcycled Delta products includes backpacks, travel kits, passport covers, other bags and accessories, and is available for purchase on www.looptworks.com/delta.  After receiving new uniforms earlier this year, Delta Airport Customer Service, Cargo, GSE, In-flight Service and TechOps employees donated more than 350,000 pounds of retired uniforms in what was one of the largest, single company textile diversion programs in U.S. history to date. Instead of creating waste in landfills across the country, many of the retired uniforms have been transformed and combined with leather from retired Delta aircraft seats to create upcycled products. Uniform pieces that were not upcycled were donated to those in need or downcycled for use in home insulation, pillows, pet bed stuffing and more. A portion of each sale goes to the Captain Planet Foundation, helping educated youth regarding environmental issues.

Give the gift of miles to those in need:

In the spirit of giving back for the holidays, give the gift of miles to one of the meaningful charitable organizations Delta partners with through SkyWish. By putting your unused miles towards a good cause, your donations can support children with life-threatening conditions seeking care, connect ill or wounded service members with medical treatment, or reunite a human trafficking victim with their families this December. Delta will match the first 3 million miles donated to human trafficking survivors through Polaris.

Now that gifts are covered, don't forget to check out the holiday travel tips listed here.
