Steve Sear, Senior Vice President – Global Sales, was named to the 2016 Hot List for industry influencers by Buying Business Travel, the UK’s leading publication for travel buyers.

Last summer, Sear and the Global Sales team launched Delta’s Operational Performance Commitment, which promises Delta will outperform rival airlines on key industry on-time metrics or pay up. If flight delays on Delta surpass other top carriers, Delta has committed to award businesses with corporate contracts credits ranging from $1,000 to $250,000.

“Delta has consistently outperformed its two competitors and stands out as the model for on-time performance in the U.S.,” said Mike Qualantone, Senior Vice President at Amex Global Business Travel, who nominated Sear.

After securing the No. 1 slot in the Business Travel News Annual Airline Survey for the fifth consecutive year, this win continues to demonstrate Delta's role as a leading airline for corporate travel buyers.
