Delta One and SkyMiles Elite customers traveling through Antonio Carlos Jobim International Airport in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, can now enjoy an upgraded airport experience at GOL’s new VIP lounge.

GOL, Delta’s Brazilian alliance partner, recently opened the lounge located in Terminal 2 to offer customers a convenient and modern place to work or relax before or between flights.

GOL’s VIP lounge brings Delta customers taste of Brazil Travelers visiting the premium lounge can take advantage of  the complimentary specialty menu and premium beverages—including the popular caipirinhas, Brazil’s national cocktail. The lounge features leather chairs, a home theater space, sound reduction wall panels, showers and Wi-Fi, all with breathtaking views of the city and warm lighting which creates a comfortable environment.

Access to the lounge is complimentary for customer flying Delta One, GOL Premium or First/Business class on Air France/KLM. Diamond, Platinum and Gold Medallion SkyMiles members and Smiles Diamond and Smiles Gold members will also have access to the lounge.

Delta connects Rio de Janeiro to the airline’s largest hub in Atlanta with daily nonstop flights.
