To show unity and solidarity for Brussels after last month's terror attacks, Delta employees folded thousands of origami hearts that will be sent on the airline’s first flight back to the Belgian capital.
“It’s a way to join hands with our fellow employees… and share a little love across the borders,” said Beth G. – Customer Engagement.
The hearts will be displayed in glass cases at some of the memorial sites around the city, including at Brussels' Zaventem Airport.
“Delta exemplifies what a community is at work. This is just one example of how we come together during tragedy,” said Lindsey M. – Network Planning.
