SEATTLE — Delta is bringing a unique selection of global beers to Seattle for a weekend through an immersive pop-up bar featuring beer from 14 of the more than 55 destinations Delta or its partners serve from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. 17:00 Bar will be open to the public for two days from noon-2 a.m. on both Friday, Oct. 4 and Saturday, Oct. 5 at Sole Repair Shop at 1001 E. Pike St., in Seattle.

17:00 Bar celebrates Seattle's love of craft beer and travel. Every hour on the hour, the bar will transform into a different global destination, serving up beer, small bites, music and scenery from that location, plus a chance to win a free flight. Each destination is a city Delta or its partners serve directly from Sea-Tac, showcasing for Seattleites the many direct travel options they have through Delta's global and growing network. The bar will offer unique brews, many of which are rare finds in Washington. Each beer has been handpicked to offer bar patrons an eclectic mix of global brews. Pricing starts at $2, with all proceeds benefitting organizations local to Seattle: USO Northwest, Habitat for Humanity Seattle - King County and Northwest Harvest. Delta will also match all proceeds from the bar.

Delta is the largest global carrier at Sea-Tac with 160 peak-day flights in September and more than 55 destinations served annually. This summer, Delta marked the five-year anniversary of establishing its Sea-Tac hub. In April, the airline launched service to Osaka from Seattle and this summer began o​perating its Airbus A330-900neo and Airbus A220 from Seattle. Since 2012, Delta employees have spent more than 10,000 volunteer hours building six homes with Habitat for Humanity and five playgrounds with KaBOOM!, packaging more than 2,000 care packages with USO Northwest, and working with underprivileged youth through YMCA.
