Paul Jacobson, Delta’s Chief Financial Officer, wanted to join the airline industry – and specifically Delta Air Lines – from the age of seven. As a student studying finance, he was determined to work for an airline despite the turmoil that made the industry famous over the decades.
The resulting journey was a “labor of love” that led him to eventually attain the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Delta, and play a key role in the transformation of Delta’s business model.
“I never dreamed it could be this good,” he told CFO Magazine in a profile and Q&A published this month.
