##  Annika McKinney, V.P. - Global Events &amp; Planning 



Annika McKinney is Vice President of the Global Events &amp; Planning Team, leading all signature employee and customer events, strategy and advisory services across the enterprise.

As a 28-year veteran of Delta, Annika is passionate about the brand. She began her career in 1997 in Orlando where she worked in ACS as a Ready Reserve throughout college. In 2002, she obtained her first role at Delta in Marketing. Since then, she has held numerous roles in Marketing, HR and now Global Sales. A career highlight was her eight years spent in New York City building the Delta brand as the airline returned to profitability, becoming the leader in the marketplace.

Prior to her current role, Annika was responsible for Delta’s Global Employee Engagement strategy in HR, Global Marketing Communications and Joint Venture partner strategy for the international regions in Marketing. She also served as Director, Sponsorships &amp; Brand Activation where she led the strategy development and activation of Delta’s strategic partnership portfolio.

Originally from Toronto, Canada, Annika has moved over 10 times and has lived in places such as Frankfurt, Vancouver, New York City and Atlanta. She is passionate about volunteering in the community and has been active with Habitat for Humanity, local food banks, and she supports the Rally Foundation. She currently resides in Atlanta with her husband, son and boxer pup Kona.
