Delta Air Lines has once again been named to [The Civic 50 by Points of Light Honorees](https://www.pointsoflight.org/the-civic-50/2026-honorees/), representing the only commercial airline recognized in 2026. As a nine-time honoree, Delta ranks among the top 25 percent of the most recognized companies in The Civic 50's 14-year history.

The Civic 50 has become the leading benchmark for corporate social responsibility and civic engagement in the U.S. The program recognizes companies with at least $1 billion in annual U.S. revenue that are setting the standard for corporate citizenship, evaluated across four key dimensions: resource investment, integration across business functions, institutionalization through policies and systems, and impact measurement.

“Today’s leading companies understand that community engagement is more than a program — it’s a reflection of their commitment to advancing social impact in ways that strengthen both their company and the communities they serve,” said Jennifer Sirangelo, president and CEO of Points of Light. “Delta demonstrates how to embed purpose into the employee experience, build authentic relationships with communities and use business as a force for good. We’re proud to honor them with the 2026 Civic 50 award.”

In 2025 alone, Delta and The Delta Air Lines Foundation contributed more than $72.5 million in charitable giving. Employees and customers raised $18.5 million for charitable causes and logged more than 134,000 volunteer hours in communities worldwide, demonstrating the collective impact that helped earn this recognition. "This recognition belongs to the Delta people,” said CEO Ed Bastian. “Beyond the work they do to care for our customers every day, our employees give their time, talent and heart to strengthen our communities around the world. I'm proud of the difference they're making and honored to see this consistent recognition."

The Civic 50 survey, administered by True Impact, is the only ranking system that exclusively measures corporate community engagement. Companies are evaluated through a rigorous, data-based survey designed to measure how deeply social impact is integrated across their business.
