#  Ramnik Bajaj – Senior Vice President &amp; Chief Data Officer 



 

**Ramnik Bajaj** is Senior Vice President and Chief Data Officer at Delta Air Lines, where he leads the Enterprise Data and AI Office, overseeing the company’s enterprise data, analytics and artificial intelligence programs.

In this role, Ramnik is responsible for advancing Delta’s data and AI strategy and capabilities to accelerate innovation, enhance decision-making and deliver business value across the enterprise. He leads the governance, development and management of structured and unstructured data environment and products, ensuring teams have trusted data and scalable platforms for analytics, machine learning and generative AI initiatives. He leads teams focused on building data and AI solutions that unlock new opportunities for Delta, improve customer experience and enhance operational performance.

Before joining Delta, Ramnik served as Chief Data, Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Officer at USAA, and prior to that, as Chief Data Officer at Wells Fargo Bank, where he led large-scale data and AI initiatives across multiple business lines. Ramnik previously spent over 20 years at Deloitte Consulting LLP as a Partner in the Data and Technology practice, leading transformational technology programs at Fortune 100 companies, including strategy, architecture and implementation of core technology platforms at several top 10 global banks. Throughout his career, he has championed the use of data, analytics and AI-driven solutions to deliver measurable business outcomes, including revenue growth, improved customer experiences, greater operational efficiency and effective risk management.

Ramnik holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in computer science and mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology, as well as a master's degree in management science (operations research) from Stanford University.
