The Points Guy (TPG) hosted its second annual awards ceremony to honor the best in travel, loyalty and credit cards around the globe, and Delta took home the most awards of any airline for the second year in a row.

More than 100,000 TPG readers voted on which brands made travel most enjoyable. Delta won the following categories:

  • Best Cobranded Airline Credit Card (Delta Reserve® Credit Card from American Express)

  • Best U.S. Airline Loyalty Program (Delta SkyMiles)

  • Best U.S. Airline Elite Status (Delta Diamond Medallion)

In addition to the award winners selected by readers, the TPG editorial team set out to determine which airlines deserved an editor's choice awards by spending hours taking flights and visiting lounges around the world. Delta was honored as the "Best Domestic Membership Lounge Network" for its Delta Sky Club.

The night's honors were accepted by Prashant Sharma, Vice President — Loyalty; Rene Van Camp, Director — Delta Sky Club Operations; Eric Laing, General Manager — SkyMiles Redemption; and Leon Klebanov, General Manager — Co-Brand Acquisitions.

"Winning these awards helps us understand how we're meeting our customers' expectations and is a testament of the hard work of our entire Delta team to earn the loyalty of our customers," said Sharma. "While we are excited and honored by this accomplishment, our work is not done, and we will continue to take steps towards improving our SkyMiles loyalty program."
