ATLANTA, Jan 4, 2007 – Delta and the SkyMiles Dining & Hotels by Rewards NetworkSM program will offer SkyMiles members 1,000 bonus miles for every $100 spent in qualified dines at participating restaurants between Jan 1 and March 15, 2007.
“Travel and dining out go hand-in-hand, and this promotion will provide SkyMiles members – whether they’re at home or away for business or pleasure – with a terrific way to earn miles in the new year,” said Jeff Robertson, managing director of the SkyMiles program.
The SkyMiles Dining program allows members who have created a Dining web profile to automatically earn three miles or more per dollar spent on food, beverages, tax and tip for qualified dines when they pay with a credit/debit card that has been registered with the program. Elite members of the SkyMiles Dining program earn five miles per dollar spent with an additional bonus five miles through Dec 31, 2007. Miles earned through the Bon Appetit promotion are in addition to miles normally earned through this free program. Members may register up to five credit/debit cards at no cost. Once a card is used at a participating restaurant for a qualified dine, miles will be automatically credited to their SkyMiles program account.
Members must register at skymiles.rewardsnetwork.com/bonappetit before Feb 28, 2007, to be eligible for this promotion. Participants must spend at least $100 (including tax and tip) when miles are being offered at participating restaurants using a card registered in the program.
