Delta Air Lines Flight Attendant Training
Delta’s In-Flight Service training includes training for flight attendants, instructors and evaluators, and the In-Flight Service management staff. Instructor-led training is provided in the Atlanta, Minneapolis-St. Paul and Salt Lake City training centers. All flight attendants attend an initial 7-week course with recurrent training annually.
Regulatory training for over 21,000 flight attendants is delivered in accordance the FAA-prescribed Advanced Qualification Program (AQP).
Voluntary strategic training focuses on the non-regulatory aspects of the inflight environment including, but not limited to purser, international, global cultural sensitivity, basic customer service, and catering delivery training. Training is also developed on a regular basis for new programs.
