​A water main break that occurred this afternoon at the arrivals hall in Terminal 4 at New York-JFK has caused some flight disruptions at the Delta hub, resulting in the diversion of several inbound international arrivals. The airline is working closely with the T4's operator, JFKlAT; local authorities; and emergency maintenance crews to resume normal operations as soon as possible.

Delta customers are encouraged to check the status of their flight via the Fly Delta Mobile App or Delta.com and to allow extra time traveling to the airport.

The airline has issued winter weather waivers for New York-JFK  and airports across the Northeast to allow customers to adjust their travel plans and be reaccommodated on alternate flights.
