New app enhancements, seamless security, special holiday treats and more await customers flying on Delta this holiday season.

Delta is expecting nearly 9 million customers from Dec. 21-Jan. 7 as the airline builds on a strong November and Thanksgiving holiday travel period.

Digital ID, Delta’s time-saving, industry-first technology that allows customers to check bags and move through security without showing a physical government ID, is growing its presence with expansion to three major hubs.

More than 21,500 Delta employees have participated in the Emergency Savings Program since it launched in January, helping Delta people strengthen their financial wellness through online instruction, one-on-one coaching and an emergency savings safety net.
